Enrico Zanolla's profile

Botega, revisited timeless shapes

Enrico Zanolla has designed a new suspension lamp inspired by traditional warehouse pendants.

Fascinated by timeless shapes of industrial metal lamps, Enrico Zanolla wanted to honor them using a warmer and different material as the ceramic, crafted by italian artisans, also including reference to metals like gold and copper.
The lamp is composed by two elements, the bottom element is characterized by a sinuous and soft shape that convey light in an essential and elegant way, while the upper part hiding the wiring is designed in a more classic and lathed-like way.
The lamp is available in black or white ceramic exterior with matching fabric cord. The interior can be chosen in a more traditional white ceramic finish, or in gold and copper metallic finish connecting the lamp with the industrial past to which Botega is inspired directly.
A surprise effect will appear turning on the bulb in the metallic finishes, concentric circles with different light intensity and colours are created thanks to light bounces, diffusion and reflections of surrounding space.

MATERIALS: ceramic, fabric cord, plastic canopy
LIGHT SOURCE: max 1x13W energy saver E27, max 1x10W LED E27
